On March 3, 2016, more than 20 Beta Pi alumni gathered for the annual Faux Founders’ Night at ritzy midtown NYC watering hole Judge Roy Bean Public House (the type of place that esteemed Beta Pi John Davidson Woodward, Jr. would love – you know what I mean…)

Faux Founder's Night is an annual event that was conceived and organized by Parker Weil ’85 to celebrate our Fraternity's founding without the trouble of having to travel to Philadelphia. This year, the attendees included:

Kyle Solomon ’87, Mark Stein ’87, David Finkelstein '87, David Stonberg ’86, Brad Silver ’86, Ben Young’ 86, Parker Weil ’85, Jamie Gertler ’85, Randy Shaw ’85, Steven Wayne ’85, Alan Frost ’84, Jeff Tepper ’84, Tom (Spaz) Sandler ’84, Zev Abraham ’84, Larry Wieseneck '84, Jeff Horring ’83, Keith Gottleib ’83, Rob Epstein ’83, Mike Shein ’83, Ron Pillar ’83, and Ross Weiner ’80 (Beta Pi AA President)

Any time such a distinguished group of Beta Pi alumni gets together, you can be assured of scintillating conversation. Important topics of the day were discussed including expanding waistlines, receding hairlines, 2nd and 3rd wives, the finer points of beer pong, golf, college tuition costs, Keith Gottlieb's Hong Kong adventure, Donald Trump, and general ragging on those brothers who were not in attendance.

In all seriousness, it is great to have a gathering of brothers across different initiation classes who share our common bond as evidenced by those who attended this event.

A good time was had by all!

Next Year’s FFN event will be held on March 2, 2017 at a fine establishment to be determined later. For more information or to add your name to the email reminder list, please get in touch with ringleader Parker Weil at Weils5@verizon.net. We’d love for you to join us!
