One of the most sought-after persons to lead start-ups and/or emerging companies is John M. Jutila, Beta Pi ’76. Brother Jutila has both an engineering and Wharton degrees from Penn, as well as a doctoral degree from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France.
Throughout his career, John has held many high-level positions at Nokia Networks, Asahi Kasei, Micro Semi Corporation, and other technology driven start-up companies. More recently, he served as CEO for Ripley Tools and Champion ONE. Both of these firms were acquired by Fortune 500 companies.
Now living in New Hampshire, brother Jutila is presently serving Tekscan, Inc. as CEO. Tekscan was founded by MIT engineers and is involved in, as stated in The Pennsylvania Gazette and Wharton Magazine, “developing advanced tactile sensor technologies for leading-edge research, medical, and industrial applications”.
Congratulations to John for his many successes.
